Dr. Webster came to Charlotte in 1999. He comes from a medical family; his father and grandfather had distinguished careers in medicine and science and his sister is a pediatrician. His wife is also a physician. He has two young children, and lives in the SouthPark area.

Dr. Webster provides a full range of general surgical specialty care, including trauma care, breast disease and breast surgery, skin cancers including melanoma, thyroid surgery, cancer surgery and all surgery of the abdomen and its contents. In addition, he performs minimally invasive (laparoscopic) procedures such as hernia repair, gallbladder removal, surgery to treat heartburn (fundoplication or "wrap") and others. Dr. Webster also performs upper and lower endoscopy (colonoscopy), and has a particular interest in oncologic (cancer) surgery.

Dr. Webster is currently serving as President of Surgical Specialists of Charlotte, P.A.  He is past-president of the Charlotte Surgical Society, and has served in various hospital positions including the Chair of Surgery at CMC-Pineville and the Executive Committee at CMC-Pineville.  He was also the first Chair of the Cancer Committee at CMC-Pineville and will be participating in the new Blumenthal Cancer Center at CMC-Pineville.  He has twice been on Charlotte’s “Top Doctors” list, and was CMC-Pineville “Physician of the Year” in surgery 2008. 

Dr. Webster is welcoming new patients at the Pineville office, and operates in both the CMC and Presbyterian hospital systems.
