During his surgical training at the University of South Carolina, Dr. Bhasin became interested in caring for critically ill surgical patients. He went on to pilot the Surgical Critical Care Fellowship introduced by the University of South Carolina in 2003, and was the first graduate of this program.

Dr. Bhasin enjoys a diversity of clinical practice. His special interest in the critically ill surgical patient comes from a passion for all aspects of general surgery. He has benefited from multidisciplinary training, including gastrointestinal surgery, breast disease, surgical endocrinology, hepatobiliary surgery and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Bhasin also serves as a Trauma Surgeon at Presbyterian Hospital.

Dr. Bhasin is Board Certified.
