General Surgery is a broad field, and forms the basis of all surgical training. It includes vascular surgery, thoracic (chest) surgery (excluding cardiac surgery), abdominal surgery, breast surgery, cancer surgery, endocrine (gland) surgery, laparoscopic (minimal access) surgery, colon and rectal surgery, trauma surgery, surgery of skin diseases, and endoscopy. Our surgeons are all Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery, and therefore highly qualified to perform surgery in all the areas listed.
